Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Tea Caddy - 1903

Description

A beautiful antique Edwardian sterling silver tea caddy which has been designed in the Art Nouveau style with an ornate rectangular shaped body depicting flowers and leaves, a hinged lid with the same detailing, an ornate finial on top of the lid and resting on four nicely shaped legs. This splendid silver tea caddy would make an interesting addition to a collection and would be perfect to use. It remains in excellent condition.

Height: 15.8 cms (6.2")

Length: 11 cms (4.3")

Width: 8 cms (3.1")

Weight: 10.2 troy ounces (318 grams)

It was hallmarked in Sheffield for 1903 by Lee & Wigfull.
