A beautiful rare English antique solid silver card case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1844 with the makers mark being that of Nathaniel Mills. It has been superbly made and the cartouche has been engraved with an unusual crest similar to that used by the Lawrie family, on the reverse side it has been engraved with a roses and another type of flower. It is in superb condition being free from dings holes and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10cm) tall by 2.75 inches (7cm) wide and weighs 72 grams. A superbly designed beautifully clean example.
