Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Tea Caddy -1910

Description

A delightful antique Edwardian sterling silver tea caddy which is oval shape in design with a plain body and rope detailing at the top and bottom edges. There is a hinged lid with an attractive finial on the top, two lion mask side handles with ring attachments and resting on a flat base. This heavy and well made silver tea caddy would be perfect to use and remains in excellent condition with clear and legible hallmarks.

Height: 12 cms (4.7")

Length: 13.8 cms (5.4")

Width: 8.5 cms (3.3")

Weight: 11.3 troy ounces (350 grams)

It was hallmarked in Birmingham for 1910 by E. J. Greenberg.

Complimentary postage is included within the price of this silver tea caddy. When taking photographs, it is difficult to eliminate the reflection on silver.
