A very fine, early Georgian silver folding fruit fork. The silver is delicately engraved beautifully and bears the Lion Passant and cusped Duty Stamp indicating circa 1797. The handle is made from mother of pearl. The fork folds nicely into place.
This is in very good condition for the age, a small nibble and light scratches to the mother of pearl handle, which we mention for complete accuracy only.

Length: 15 cm long when opened and 8.2 cm when folded. Weight: 20 grams
