A Handsome Georgian Scottish Silver Table/serving Spoon

A handsome Scottish silver table spoon, assayed at the beginning of the Georgian Regency era. This lovely example is in oar end Pattern (an elongated version of fiddle pattern, peculiarly Scottish or Irish), with the original engraved initial 'W' to the top front. Scottish silver is always in demand and this is a good collector's item, still usable today. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. The bowl tip is good.

Hallmarks :- Readable and clear.

Date :- Edinburgh 1810.

Maker :- Marked only with 'Z', suggesting Alexander or John Zeigler.

Length :- 22.2 cms.

Bowl width :- 4.5 cms.

Depth :- 1.5 cms.
