Stunning Silver Plate Gilded Green Enamel Cigarette Case C1940s Art Deco

Description

A beautiful English gilt silver plated and green enamel cigarette case. It is marked MADE IN ENGLAND and the makers mark of Joseph Gloster Ltd, I would date it by its design to c1940s. It has been beautifully made with the front being guilloche enamelled and engine turning to its back. The whole piece has been gilded. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, the enamel is complete and free from chips, cracks, scratches, and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.2cm) long by 2.75 inches (7cm) wide and weighs 104 grams. A beautifully designed piece.
