Description

A rare very nice quality English solid silver match vesta case. It is unmarked but tests as sterling silver. I would date it to c1860. It has been beautifully designed and is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. Gilded inside. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (2.8cms) long by almost 0.75 inches (1.7cms) wide and weighs 6 grams. A very interesting early example.
