Description

A pretty Victorian pendant depicting Spring in relief on an oval pendant with a fine rope twist detail to the inner edge. Spring is symbolised as a goddess, with a fruit bearing cherub and a young child signifying the new life of the season. The title 'SPRING' is stamped to the reverse, and there is a lozenge mark for 1871. Tests as18ct gold with 10ct loop. In very good condition, this would appeal to a lover of Victoriana and symbolism.

Weight 2.65 grams. All weights and measurements are approximate.
