Antique George V Sterling Silver Serving Tongs - 1933

Description

A pair of antique George V sterling silver serving tongs which have plain silver handles with shell design, a good spring action which is still in excellent working order and pierced silver blades perfect for serving a variety of food. These silver tongs would be practical to use and have been well cared for over the years.

Height: 4.5 cms (1.8")

Length: 19.4 cms (7.6")

Width: 5 cms (2")

Weight: 4 troy ounces (126 grams)

They were hallmarked in Sheffield for 1933 by Harrison Brothers & Howson.
