Victorian Silver Plated 4 Piece Tea and Coffee Set C1880

Description

This is a Victorian antique silver plated tea and coffee set. Comprising a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug and sugar bowl. This is a very ornate set. Standing on an elaborate skirt of curved scrolled feet. The round bulbous body is heavily embossed with flowers scrolls and leaves. Flower finials. Each piece is engraved with a crest or armorial. c.1880 British made with a makers mark stamped underneath. These have been resilvered.

This has been registered with Government U.K. as made before 3 March 1947 with less than 10% ivory. The teapot and coffee pot have small ivory insulators on the handles. Exemption certificate submission reference: W1QCGRZ7
