An Extremely Rare Pair of 18th Century Sprung Silver Tongs

A rare pair of 18th Century sprung silver tongs. These beautiful tongs are in fully cast silver and decorated with feather edge decoration and the original owner's initial are engraved inside, beside the hallmarks. The pads are of fluted shell form and the quality is very good. A superior pair of early tongs in wonderful condition. Dimensions below.
