This is a fine quality antique English Georgian mahogany style stool, ideal as a dressing or piano stool, constructed during the late Victorian period, circa 1890, which has been newly upholstered to a professional standard, in excellent condition.
The drop-in seat is firm, but very comfortable to sit on. The seat sits within a moulded mahogany frame, raised on block moulded legs, united by a “H” stretcher for additional strength. Ideal for use as a bedroom dressing stool, piano or foot stool, in the living room.

Condition Report:
This is a fine quality antique English Georgian mahogany style stool, ideal as a dressing or piano stool, constructed during the late Victorian period, circa 1890, which has been newly upholstered to a professional standard, in excellent condition. The stool has been newly upholstered, to a professional standard, in top quality taupe colour boucle material, with a hessian underside. The seat is firm, but very comfortable. The upholstery is therefore new, clean and free from any wear, dirt or damage. The frame is in excellent condition, with no breaks or damage. The mahogany stool has been cleaned and French polished by hand to a professional standard. Nominal old use marks to the edges of the frames, but nothing significant considering the age of them. This Georgian mahogany style stool is solid in joint and ready to use.
