Stunning Victorian 15ct Gold Pearl Swallow / Bird Earrings. These exquisite earrings are of timeless quality and design. Set with twenty eight creamy seed pearls across the swallows body and wings and the leaves above. These earrings really do hang very well and have a good quality, size and weight. In fantastic original condition. Not hallmarked but tested for 15ct gold and dating to the Victorian era. Swallows were a very romantic symbol in antique jewellery and a promise to return. They were said to represent faithfulness. The earrings each measure 1.5cm x 4cm. Total weight 3.6 grams.
