Royal Navy Sterling Silver Enamel Vesta Matchbook Case 1930 Antique Naval

Description

A beautiful rare Art Deco solid sterling silver and enamel vesta or matchbook case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1930 with the markers mark being that GLtd. It has been beautifully made having a blue enamelled front with Royal Navy emblem and an engine turned. It is in very good condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The enamel is complete and free from chips repairs and cracks. A couple of burn marks inside see photo and a small inscription. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (6cm) across by 1.75 inches (4.5cm) wide and weighs 47 grams. A beautifully designed piece.
