Enormous Antique Silver Plated & Cow Horn Table Decoration C1880

Description

This is a fabulous enormous antique silver plated and cow horn table decoration. Standing on a decorated pedestal base with four elaborate feet. Above this is a figure of Atlas supporting the large horn. The horn has a central silver plated pierced band of vines grapes and leaves. The tip is adorned with a silver plated flower bud with lattice work. The top mount is pierced with vines grapes and leaves. The finial is of a king with outstretched hand. This has been resilvered. c1880 European made.

Height is approximately: 78.5cm (31")

Span is approximately: 48cm (19")
