Fine Old Sheffield Plated Biggin / Coffee Pot

Description

This fine biggin or coffee pot is made of Old Sheffield Plate. Dating to c1830 but bearing no makers marks, this piece is of a small tactile form. With fully removable lid, which marks the piece as a biggin. Lovely reeded detailing to the rim and an firm wooden handle.

In very good condition with no dents or splits. The plating is in good order with slight surface wear, a couple of small stubborn black marks and slight copper bleed to the raised edges.
