A very fine and collectable solid silver vesta case in circular form, with a rose coloured circle to the centre, when pushed the lid springs open. The lid is secured, with a neat catch which gives a good clicking closure. There is also a small loop for fastening to a chain.
This is a beautifully made silver item. Hallmarks are visible on the inside opening rim of the vesta for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1912, along with the lion passant indicating sterling silver. Unfortunately the makers mark is not legible
A fabulous vesta case for a collector, in great antique condition. A rare find! (Some very slight surface scratching to the silver, which we mention for complete accuracy and are commensurate with age).
