Rare English Edwardian Sterling Silver Candle Box 1909 Antique

Description

A rare English Edwardian antique solid sterling silver candle box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1909 with the makers marks being that of T H Hazlewood & Co. It has been superbly made having a domed lid designed to hold a candle. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, there is the odd small mark but nothing of note. The inside is clean and the lid closes securely. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.6cm) across by 2.5 inches (6.2cm) tall and weighs 24 grams. A very unusual piece.
