Edwardian Silver Button Hole / Lapel Posy Holder Birmingham 1906 William Vale & Sons

A lovely and very rare Edwardian silver Boutonniere vase for the purpose of holding flowers in one's button hole or lapel. A plain polished silver with protruding frame at the top designed to hold a small floral spray. Hallmarks are visible for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1906, Lion Passant indicating sterling silver and the maker's mark for the silver maker: William Vale & Sons

Condition: In lovely condition (same very light surface scratches to the silver commensurate with age and mentioned for accuracy only).
