A rare and very fine antique Edwardian sterling silver egg cruet set, having four, very attractive removable plain polished silver egg cups. The egg cups have lovely scalloped edges. Four stylishly designed egg spoons featuring circular loops to hang from the frame. All housed on an attractive frame, which also features a scalloped edge to complement the egg cups. The base sits on four ball feet.  This wonderful set is complete, as originally made, all by the same silver maker (it is not a harlequin set). It bears the very clear and crisp hallmarks on all of the pieces included: egg cups, spoons and base, assayed in 1905 by the Birmingham Assay Office and displaying the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver, along with the silver maker''s mark: Norton & White. A stunning set, in super collector''s condition.
