It is of amazing quality with many fine features. There is an inset tooled green leather writing surface with three drawers beneath.
The back gallery has a pie crust edge, this sits on beautifully turned and fluted legs. It is designed to go against a wall but the back is also nicely polished, so it can be used as a free standing item.
We have had this completely re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with some minor wear beneath the polish here and there.
