It is of fantastic quality and is beautifully made. The mahogany has satin wood inlay around all the edges, this has brass ring pull handles. There is a beautiful inset tooled leather writing surface which has a gorgeous patina.
The top level also has a pierced brass gallery.
We have had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
