The bureau stands on its original shaped bracket feet. The fall of the bureau is also veneered in 4 pieces with cross banding and moulded edge. The top is also 4 pieces. The bureau interior is pleasant with drawers and pigeon holes and a felt / baize writing area.

The bureau is in pretty good condition for its age, there are a few old veneer repairs as to be expected but overall it is in pretty good original condition. Lovely set of original handles.
The bureau is a good colour with rich patina and waxed finish.
