Striking Japanese Edo (mid 19thC) gilt bronze Buddha statue. Measures 28.5cm high x 0.5cm x 9cm (base), weight 1.6kg.

Good condition for age, with signs of wear, but has a lovely patina and verdigris (green oxidisation) due to being displayed outdoors. No damage.
