North west persia,first quarter of the 20th century. (1900-1925).

Kurdish interpretation of a sarab design with alternating central boteh motifs.

Sarab type outer border in a very light yellow and light green.

Hand washed & de-dusted,last images. Over 30 detailed images.

All over low pile with subtle wear to the dark brown ground. Sides and ends secured. No holes.

Overall a good usable long rug with no harsh reds !

8 foot 5 inches by 3 foot 8 inches. 266cm X 112cm. At widest points. All woollen hand knotted construction..
