Pair of early C19th Italian ‘Grand Tour’ souvenir classical bronze tazzas or ‘tazze’ , after the antique.

Elegant pair of crisply-cast bronze shallow bowl tazzas mounted on Spanish brocatelle marble block plinth bases . Each with twin leaf-wrapped scroll handles with Bacchus mask terminals. The edges of the rims with cast stiff-leaf detail , raised on turned socle supports with cast details onto square bases.

The shallow bowls with reeded or gadrooned cast bodies.

The whole mounted on well-chosen figured Spanish brocatelle marble block plinths .

In excellent original condition with a consistent green/brown patination and surface.
