This is an exceptional, beautifully made & important piece of furniture! This superbly constructed Pollard oak piece is built to a very high standard with no expense spared. The top section has a shelf with a carved pediment and pierced side supports. The base section has two panelled front doors and a side door which opens to reveal an unusual section that is used for storing dining table extension leaves. The cabinet retains the remnant of a maker’s label and is a unique example of a Victorian craftsmanship & is in exceptional original condition.
