We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. A chuval is a large, handwoven bag face traditionally produced by nomadic Turkmen tribes in Central Asia, utilised primarily for storage inside yurt tents.

Authentic pieces are crafted from hand-spun sheep wool with supplementary weft or pile construction, traditionally dyed using natural madder root to achieve rich red and madder tones.

Authenticity is determined by evaluating the irregularity of hand-spun wool, natural colour variations known as abrash, symmetrical or asymmetrical knotting structures, and organic wear consistent with age.

These textiles are frequently mounted as wall art or utilised as small floor accents to introduce texture, geometric pattern, and deep historical character into minimalist or eclectic rooms.

Preservation requires regular gentle vacuuming without a beater bar, protection from direct sunlight to prevent fading, and professional specialist cleaning when necessary.
