Late Regency Large Pair Cast Iron Boot Scrapers

Late Regency pair cast iron boot scrapers; rare surviving pair; the curved scrape blade raised on opposing griffin monopodia having open beaks and feathered wings with pierced scrolls and scalloped shells below. Raised on claw feet standing on rectangular dished trays with two drainage holes. An almost identical single boot scraper sold Christies 20/06/2013 for £2750.
