The antique pine chest has an arrangement of two short over two long drawers, each with wooden knobs. Raised on a shaped plinth base and finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and minor stains to the top (pictured), further scratches and marks to the drawer fronts (pictured). There are also shrinkage splits to both sides (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution.
