The top is a caddy type top with wonderful ovolu moulding in solid walnut. The top is cross banded in walnut as are the graduated drawers which are oak lined and retain theiroriginal brass handles. The canted sides are fluted and again constructed from solid walnut. Everything about this piece sings quality; it is constructed from dense heavy English oak which is quarter sawn to the top to give beautiful medullary rays.The feet are original and are the more desirable ogee form. Excellent condition with great rich colour and patina.
