A fine quality mahogany bureau bookcase dating to the late Victorian period. Made with a rich cut of mahogany the cabinet has a shelves glazed top with adjustable shelves sitting on a lower cupboard with hidden writing desk with lift up lid and large drawer. Made with quality showing in the flush campaign brass handles. In good overall condition with some surface wear and repairs to the veneers. Has a working lock and key for the top and bottom section.
