This unusual ANTIQUE COUNTRY HOUSE EMBOSSED BRASS FIRE SCREEN dates from circa 1900.

It is made to lean against the fire surround rather than be free-standing.

It is a good size (44 inches [112 cm] tall) and the embossed, decorative, brass panel is full of life.

As always, there are some old repairs.
