A fabulous antique Heriz rug, handwoven circa 1900 with an unusual vase design flanked by 2 (slightly disinterested looking!) peacocks on a dark indigo field and great secondary colours. Unusual in both it’s design and small size (Heriz are more often in large sizes), this rug is very collectible.
Size: 1.93m x 1.32m (6ft 4in x 4ft 4in)
This rug is in good condition with moderate even wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
