Old Afghan village rug of traditional Turkmen style design with large dyrnak guls.
 
Circa 1920.
 
The rug has a warm madder red colour with lighter highlights in the guls. Both ends have the original decorated kilim end finishes.
 
The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
 
The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use such as an entrance hall or living room.
 
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
