Description

A very attractive and pale Persian rug with a classical medallion on an ivory field. All the colours blend very harmoniously. This is a very subtle rug ideal for decoration. Soft wool and an even thin velvety pile. Solid condition. Woven in the city of Tabriz around 1900 during the 'revival' period of Persian rug weaving. Very nice borders which complement the field. Professionally cleaned, very little signs of use. Sides and ends intact and secured.
