A George III Serpentine Sideboard

Description

The sideboard is 18th century and of serpentine form. It is made from Cuban mahogany and is of outstanding quality, colour and patination. The well figured top is above drawers that are feather banded and the decorative marquetry inlay is original. The sideboard is unusual in that it has a drawer, cupboard, central door and deep fitted cellaret drawer. The moulded legs end with very elegant spade feet. Without question this is a first class George III sideboard. English, circa 1785.
