A set of four late‑19th‑century bronze Coupe Aux Cigognes covered urns by Jules Moigniez (French, 1835–1894). Each urn is finely cast in high relief with hounds, game birds and rabbits, framed by Moigniez’s distinctive twin stork handles. The domed covers feature hunting hounds and are surmounted by a bird‑of‑prey finial, a hallmark of Moigniez’s sculptural vocabulary.

Discreetly to the lid, each is raised on a marble plinth base. Height: 26–28 cm.

Condition is consistent with age and use, with expected minor wear to the plinths and surfaces.

These richly detailed urns represent Moigniez’s celebrated naturalistic style and are rarely encountered as a complete set of four, making them highly desirable to collectors of 19th‑century French bronzes and decorative arts.
