A very nice example of an early 19thc pewter quart ale jug engraved with the unusual name G. Murrouy - 160 Kentish Town Road....(the unusual surname could be highly likely a misspelling, a typographical error, or an extremely rare phonetic variant of a more common surname)..... it is stamped quart....and has an attractive raised waist band which is also reflected in the base....excellent colour with no repairs.
