Description

Flights of narrow drawers remain highly sought after, and this 1930s burr walnut example is especially appealing. Its bow front, crossbanding, compact footprint and elegant proportions allow it to sit comfortably in almost any room, while the polished walnut adds warmth. Six oak-lined, hand-dovetailed drawers retain their original handles and working locks, with two keys included. We sourced the piece from a local home near our gallery in Dorking, Surrey. Although carefully maintained and structurally sound, its surface required restoration. It has since been traditionally French polished and waxed, ready to be used and enjoyed once more.
