Description

A very large antique Amritsar jail carpet from Northern India.

Ardebil inspired medallion on red ground flanked by monumental cartouche borders.

The piece is worn in areas and has one or two decent repairs, but its very clean with no holes and all ends and sides newly secured.

What we would describe as country house condition.

A very heavy carpet that would look great in an old dining room setting.
