Description

One of the best pair of 18thc brass and iron andirons I have bought....beautifully made by casting in a mould the two parts....still possible to see the seam on each andiron...they are of the highest quality with a classical urn finial...large central "ball" knop and a large round plinth....standing on shapely legs with spurs and round ball feet.....supported by iron rests.

American - New York or Philadelphia. C1780-C1800.
