Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated this Regency Rosewood Chiffonier Cabinet to the 19th Century.
Each door is decorated with a distinctive Gothic pointed-arch panel, flanked by turned rosewood columns.

The doors open to reveal a useful shelved interior, while the whole stands on a substantial plinth base with projecting block feet.
The drawer is traditionally constructed with hand-cut dovetail joints, consistent with the early 19th-century date.

A handsome and relatively restrained Regency chiffonier, the beautifully figured rosewood providing much of its decoration. Its compact proportions make it a particularly versatile piece for a drawing room, dining room, hallway or alcove.
