An antique Minton dessert plate, handpainted with flowers to the centre and bordered with cobalt panels and swags of tiny handpainted flowers and foliage. There is a date mark to the rear, but it is unclear, possibly 1883.

Excellent condition; no chips, cracks or crazing. Gilt and pattern in good order.

Can be shipped safely worldwide.

This Victorian Neo-Rococo dessert plate is an antique bone china piece with a glossy white glaze and a vibrant cobalt blue ground. The rim presents a scalloped edge highlighted with burnished gilt scrollwork and framing handpainted swags of tiny pink, blue and orange flowers and green foliage. A detailed central spray of polychrome flowers sits neatly in the middle of the well, featuring purple, pink and yellow blossoms. The plate rests upright on two small white display stands against a neutral background. There is a date mark on the reverse of the plate, alongside the clear white expanse of the ceramic body.
