Early 20th‑century Oak Banker’s Desk

Description

A fine early 20th‑century oak banker’s desk, fitted with a black cloth writing surface above twin banks of drawers. The upper three drawers feature working locks with key, while one lower drawer is a deep filing drawer with dividers.

Each drawer retains its original brass swan‑neck handles, and the desk stands on a solid block plinth with a generous central kneehole for comfortable seating.

Panelled sides and back complete the piece, showcasing traditional frame‑and‑panel craftsmanship in well‑figured golden oak. A handsome, practical desk with timeless character and excellent proportions.
