A superb example of an early 18th century welsh oak dresser; made of dense welsh golden oak with fine figured grain;ogee cornice above shaped rack and single shelf, raised shaped panel cupboard doors with secret wood catches and holly inlaid dovetailed drawers. The base with polished top above three drawers with conforming raised shaped panel cupboard doors, paneled sides and back, stood on bracket feet. Overall superb condition, minor general usage wear as per photos.

Similar model likely from the same workshop found in richard bebbs book welsh vernacular furniture.
