Victorian Rosewood Credenza/ Sideboard

Description

A fine Victorian rosewood credenza decorated with Wedgwood‑style plaques in gilt frames. The chevron‑veneered doors are bordered with satinwood crossbanding, ormolu mounts, and gilt beaded mouldings. Inside are two removable black shelves. The side display cabinets have glass to the front and both sides, all edged with gilt beaded trim. Finished with ebonised details and standing on turned feet, it’s a high‑quality mid‑19th‑century piece with elegant classical ornament and superb presence.
