Queen Anne Style Walnut Three-Seat Sofa
Item Code: S27-1143
A generously proportioned Queen Anne style three-seat sofa, dating from the early to mid-20th century.
The sofa features a high, shaped triple-panel back with gently winged sides and enclosed upholstered arms. It retains three loose seat cushions and is raised on carved walnut cabriole legs, the front supports terminating in well-defined ball-and-claw feet.
Currently upholstered in a brown and burnt-orange patterned fabric. The upholstery shows visible wear, fading and areas of damage and would benefit from complete re-upholstery.
A decorative and comfortable sofa with an appealing period form, suitable for a drawing room, library or spacious reception area.
