Circa 1900, west persia probably sarouk district.
 
not in the best shape,what I call country house shabby chic but still with a certain look this type of condition brings (my house is full of them) but is an authentic antique rug.
 
Twin basket of flowers design amongst medallions.
 
All over pile with wear,end losses, side cords reasonably good,hand washed,last images. Plenty of images of rug.
 
5 foot 4 inches by 3 foot 7 inches. 162cm X 110cm. Wool pile,cotton foundations with wefts dyed blue/black.
