Rarely found in today''s marketplace, similar English examples of the 1750 - 1800 period are illustrated by Cotterell, { Old Pewter, It''s Makers and Marks : Plate XLVII (b) }, whilst Irish examples, though handle-less, from the Young Collection, are there illustrated in Plate L {a}.
